With releases on labels like Minimal Rome, Gigolo Records and Sign Bit Zero, wich are very beloved by the COM-Crew, he has proved his wide understanding of Techno, EBM and Dance Music in general.

Carl Finlow, one of the real veterans of Electro, comes over for a live set. Producing music since 1986, he’ll work out his manifold collection of machine sounds. We’re looking forward hearing him play!

Last but definitely not least Privacy will complete our line up. From oldschool Miami Bass to dark electro this guy knows how to set the dancefloor on fire.

Warm up by COM residents DJ Hirax and Sarah for Sure.

Press Info (English):
Two thousand fuckteen is over. In fact, we wouldn’t even join into the by now redundant choir of Weltschmerz if the catastrophe 2016 hadn’t as well hit the Griessmühle as severely as it did. In the night from June 19th to 20th our friend and resident, the producer, live musician and DJ Andreas Gehm left planet earth after a hard and exhausting fight against illness and pain. A shock that is still deeply felt today. That night, the world of techno lost an all-too-rare punk in the realest sense of the word who, as an artist and as a human being, stood for uncompromised proper-as-fuckness as well as genuine anti-elitism. We miss you and we will forever miss you, Andreas.

Despite all our grief, no, exactly because of it, we are all the more looking forward to cheers galore – with you, with us, to Andreas, to TWO THOUSAND SEVENTEEN!

Like every year, we fill the traditionally extended club complex with the proper program, well-cooked by us and our reg promoters, nicely hot on a blue flame.

We hit things off at 22:00 o’clock on New Year’s Eve and we’re gonna party all through until deep into the 2nd of January. Griessmühle proudly presents: a live set by the hit smithery that is Paranoid London, a world premiere hybrid set by Head Front Panel aka John Heckle and Charlton, UK techno all-timer Mark Broom, the eclecticon of Mosca, Berceuse Heroique Overlord ΚΕΜΑΛ, a five hour set on the Loft floor upstairs by Murat Tepeli, the mission statement of which – “From Disco to Eurodance” – is already filling our eyes with tears of lust, our friend from the circle around Düsseldorf’s Salon Des Amateurs, DJ Normal 4, who has a fantastic 2016 to celebrate and many many more. On top of this, of course, a rocketload of residents and locals like Franklin De Costa with his Mother’s Finest Posse, Berlin techno duo I/Y, Tangible Assets honcho Stojche, Synoid host Acierate, Ricardo Esposito, Michael Nadjé and many more.

Want more bang for the buck? We top it off with a hi-end system by Funktion-One – plus a winter garden filled to the brim with street food.

We deeply want to thank you, all our guests, friends, promoters and artists for your incredible support all these years!

Mehr Bang for the Buck?

Press Info:
Unequal Records was founded 2016 by Anselm from Frankfurt am Main and is mainly focused on his own productions. It ranges between spaced out analog sounds and industrial influenced techno. Until now three EPs were released and another one will follow soon – the guys from Vienna imprint Bare Hands are also involved. Founded in 2014, in order to release their own output on vinyl, the Vienna-based label Bare Hands, a collective consisting of Daniel Hartl alias SEDVS, Julian Derkits and Manuel Cyrill of live performers Stock Projects, stays true to the DIY approach. Focused on a sonic spectrum rooted in New wave, Post-Punk, EBM and Industrial, which are vigorously re-contextualized into an electronic environment by the label. Unconventional and single-minded. Hailing straight from Lower Austria, SEDVS, the solo project of Daniel Hartl has become synonymous with forward-thinking techno and electronic music. Being part of Bedlam and the previously featured duo Herla, the idea behind his solo effort focuses on the intersection between Noise, Dark Wave and industrial soundscapes without straying away too far from Techno. Drawing influences from early Birmingham-rooted spheres of the 80’s Post-Punk / EBM movement, the founder of Bare Hands recently put out the highly anticipated Pieces Of Agitation EP. Utilising the vast soundscapes offered by modular synthesis as well as the accuracy that is accessible with a digital setup, Stock Projects’ performance ranges from electrifying techno, percolated through the inspiration drawn from the early UK sound palette, to more eclectically infused spheres. The duo’s improvised live performances correspond directly with their audience, creating a tangible level energy throughout their set. Being the collaborative effort of Bare Hands co-founders Julian Derkits (Bedlam) and Manuel Cyrill, the duo released their first EP on their own label in 2016, prepping a release for early 2017. Herrensauna is an underground techno party and mindset, with a retained focus on quality music, crowd and self-expression, presenting residents CEM b2b MCMLXXXV tonight.
