Press Info:
For this edition of Stützpunkt we’ve got something special up our sleeves. We are more than happy to be the host of French label Skryptöm as we celebrate their 10th anniversary together with them.

You can’t host a Skryptöm label night without it’s founder, Electric Rescue. Antoine Husson has really become one of the leading figures of the French techno scene. With his own label he gathered a group of strong talent, both experienced and young DJs. For the past 20 years he has been stirring up clubs all over the globe with his both his DJ sets and also various live performances, including Möd3rn and his solo project. His uncompromising productions have been released on various imprints. It’s great to finally have him back in Berlin after a rather long period and there could not be a better reason than the anniversary of his own label.

Manu Le Malin is considered to be a pillar of hardcore music. But he is much more than that. Manu is above all an outstanding DJ who knows how to strike and seduce with his techno alter-ego, The Driver. This different repertoire keeps the crowd dancing with the same ardour and success. Every performance is proof of a never-ending strength, surprising and enchanting every generation. He has a charisma, an incredible technique, a universe and a soul like no other. We are very excited for his performance as this is his first time playing in Berlin with this project.

Kmyle represents the young new corners of Skryptöm. He is quite new on the techno surface but his productions have not only an unbelievable energy but also show an amazing understanding of the music itself. His live performances are something that sticks with you. We again are really excited for his live set as Kmyle is also going to play in Berlin for the very first time for this edition of Stützpunkt. You can definitely be enthusiastic about what this young Frenchman will have in store for us.

Last but not least our resident OP/H completes this nights lineup. His style is characterized by a mixture between the unorthodox and the popular, with a tendency to bring out the cheesy goods.
The Frenchman who is now based in Berlin is a great enrichment to Stützpunkt and we are glad to have him with us. For this night he will only bring his best vinyl, wear his best clothes and – as always – be on his best behavior. On ne change pas!

As always we are very much looking forward to this night. Be sure to join us at Arena Club for this special occasion and let’s be on fire together.

Press Info:
After some months of silence we are starting the new year right by hitting Arena Club again with a lineup as slick as always.

Kyle Geiger
Hailing from a region known for its basketball and corn, the emergence of an artist from Indiana such as Kyle Geiger is marked as seldom at best. He certainly is no stranger to the international techno arena, with releases on heavy hitter labels such as Drumcode, Droid or his own label Cubera.
Originally inspired by the harder, percussive stylings of techno, Kyle has witnessed the evolution of the genre as it morphed into a more accessible, groove based sound. Still loving the energy and power of the more straight forward side of techno while embracing the genre’s changes, Kyle has refined his productions and DJ sets into what very well may be a new breed of soundscapes that pushes things forward for the next generation of techno to come. We are very happy that he will be with us for his one.

Emmanuel
The releases of Berlin-based Emmanuel have left many people in awe. His unique production style has bewitched the heavyweights of contemporary techno and house, garnering full support across the scene. Releasing on labels including Deeply Rooted House or Enemy Records as well as his own label ARTS, Emmanuel has rapidly become a regular on the European techno circuit, with his uncompromising style that he is now synonymous with through his productions and performances alike. In his DJ sets he is able to combine many different aspects of techno music and put them together to create an astonishing mix. It makes us excited to anticipate what he has in store for us.

Chami
Always a major highlight at our parties, Chami has become quite the talk of the town. The strong and determined vinyl only sets of our Moroccan resident have become an illustration of the Stützpunkt series, purely creating an exceptional atmosphere. For this installment he will play his first closing set for us, as he gives us another reason to celebrate – it is his birthday weekend. Let us honor this special occasion by dancing until the very end of Chamis extravaganza.

Background Radiation
Our cherished duo Background Radiation will complete this nights lineup. This once again highly anticipated DJ set will feature the golden pieces of their vinyl selection and you can be sure that they will present the right spirit at the right time. If you have been following us for a while you know that they will definitely not disappoint.

We are excited for another big one with you and we hope you are as well. Don’t forget to bring the heat to make this cold January night a hot one!

Press Info:
We are back at Arena Club to celebrate our first Stützpunkt anniversary together with you. For this special occasion we put a lineup together whose diversity in musical style excites us very much and will most definitely make this night matchless.

Benjamin Damage
For this edition Benjamin Damage is playing a DJ set for us. The UK producer became a key part of Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons imprint back in 2010. It was a partnership which spanned half a decade, ending only alongside the closure of the label late last year. As the first artist (outside of Modeselektor) to release on the label it was apt that his album “Obsidian” was also the last one on 50 Weapons. His 2013 debut solo album “Heliosphere” featured “010x”, described by Marcel Dettmann as the ‘track of the summer’ and given the remix treatment from Robert Hood, Truncate and SCNTST.
His style is unique, as he mixes classic 4/4 with breakbeat rhythms while creating ravy lead synths which show influences from all over the musical spectrum.

Randomer
Coming over from North London is Randomer. In his six year career he has had releases on labels such as Hemlock, L.I.E.S and many more. As a producer and also as DJ he is capable of connecting techno with other electronic genres like bass. His idea of techno isn’t limited to classic 4/4 beats but also features a lot of breakbeat and other unorthodox elements. His track „Bring“ which was released back in 2013 has been played in clubs and festivals everywhere.
His peerless productions and DJ sets have given him the opportunity to tour all over the world and showcase his skills in front of small club audiences as well as huge festival crowds. We are very excited for what he will show us this time.

I/Y
Yacoub and Irakli, better known as I/Y will play one of their powerful DJ sets for us, taking you into a different musical direction and showcasing the diversity of techno music. They met in Berlin at the beginning of this millennium and have ever since shaped the techno scene – with their infamous „Staub“ party but also with releases on labels such as 47 or Fracture. With the curation of their eponymous creative platform, they have been releasing works from friends, similar minded artists, and aliens.
Their talent, production wise and on the turntables have enabled the boys to play at venues all over Europe. We are most excited about I/Y being with us on this night, in their home base Berlin.

Staím
For the closing our resident Staím will be back on the decks. He has been there ever since we started as „Stützpunkt Techno“ back in 2013. After dropping the „Techno“ and bringing the idea into the club his love and passion for the project hasn’t gotten any weaker.
He has developed his music taste early on and has found his style in direct and hard, percussion-driven techno – we call it „Brecher Techno“. Next to him performing DJ-Sets, Staím has also started producing his own tracks in 2015. He stayed true to his style which made him a valuable asset for many parties, as you can be sure of strong energy on the dancefloor when Staím starts to play.

Dial Tone
Completing the lineup is the Berlin duo dial tone. Caspar and Laurens have started making music together last year in 2015 when they saw their similar taste in techno music. One coming from the DJ-side and the other from the producing-side of this genre they learn from and complement each other perfectly. Caspar has previously played a house set solo at one of our Stützpunkt parties on the upstairs floor. You can see the influence of melodic and groovy house in their understanding of techno music which gives their sets its very own atmosphere. We are very happy to have them with us this time and are looking forward to what they have in store for all of us.

Be sure to join us for our first anniversary party. Thank you for your support this past year, may it go on for many more anniversaries to come. We are ready.

Press Info:
Stützpunkt is again taking over Humboldthain Club, this time with multiple gems waiting for you on this heated july night.

We are most happy to have Boston 168 for their Berlin debut at Stützpunkt. Shaking up the techno scene for a while now, their last couple of EPs, released on labels such as Attic Music or Odd Even, have brought up a new dawn of Acid Techno. Originally from the former Italian working class town Torino, their origins to this day are heavily influencing their sound and perspective on music. Sergio and Vincenzo perform analogue live sets, which unite powerful, raw percussion and playful, ravy, acid synths, while always revolutionizing their previous production. Their approach on music is unique as they research it in a very precise way, always looking for new ways to create sound itself. It was only a matter of time until they play here in Berlin for the first time and we are excited that it is with us.

After performing at various Stützpunkt parties and also being part of our podcast series, Chami has definitely become on of the cornerstones of our collective. Born and raised in Morocco, he has been djing in front of huge crowds before moving to Lyon, France and truly discovering his passion for techno there. Now based in Berlin, he is able to showcase his talent on the decks through his highly energetic mixes, a term which is often used to describe DJ-sets but couldn’t fit anyone better than Chami.

Also our residents Background Radiation will be playing another DJ-set after already performing two live sets at previous Stützpunkt parties. They are part of our main core and are surely always one of the highlights at our parties. They have just self-released their first EP after receiving great feedback for their first track which they also self-released almost a year ago.

Counter Movement are a young duo from Berlin who will be starting of this Stützpunkt with their broad gathering of techno vinyl. They have recently started the new project ‚Mandatory‘ with two close friends. Their style range is big, so you can be excited for what they will have in store for you.

Closing out the night will be ReVenant with a very special 90s techno set. His fast and electric style is described best in his own words – straight Detroit. We are very excited for his closing, as it is definitely going to still make you dance in the early hours.

For the OBEN-floor we invited friends from the city of Lyon for a smooth night of house music. The city is special to us as two of our residents are from this southeastern French town.

Byche is hard to characterize, his style reaches from experimental housy tunes, over cheesy disco all the way to acid house, but it always hot and spicy stuff. His mixes consisting of his huge vinyl collection are always able to surprise us. After playing at clubs all over Lyon and France we are very happy that he is finally playing at one of our parties.

Bringing to you the beauty of disco are Minijob. The french duo is also coming over to celebrate with us. They take the era of disco and put it together with house to create music which when it is playing is hard not to dance to. They have also played all over Lyon and showcased their groove there before now coming to play for us. We are sure that they will make your booties shake.

Our very own resident OP/H completes the Lyon-lineup with a special house-vinyl set. Usually he plays techno and makes you rave UNTEN but this time he will admit his love for house music by mixing his favorite tunes for you. As the French always like to put a bit of cheese on everything, OP/H is doing no different with his music. We are excited that this time he is showing his other site for you.

Join us for this edition of Stützpunkt as we are super excited for this one. Bring it on!

Press Info:
We are back at our little oasis in Wedding, better known as Humboldthain, for another edition of Stützpunkt. We put together a very special lineup because we are also celebrating the 3 year anniversary of the first Stützpunkt Techno Open Air back in 2013.

Playing on the UNTEN-Floor will be Maxime Dangles from Lyon. Maxime has been spilling his melody accompanied techno into the scene for over a decade now and he never ceases to amaze us with his incredibly intertwined harmonics. His various side projects have shown his diversity and understanding for the music. His passion has also led him to producing remixes for artists like Moby or Röyksopp. We are happy to have him with us.
Joining him is Berlin/Hamburg based Andre Kronert. He is part of the infamous label Figure and can already look back on many nights headlining various international clubs. His mixes have a certain energy that is hard to describe in words but they always leave the listeners in ecstasy.
As a very special guest we welcome Tresor.Berlin Resident Mario Berger. He has hosted the New Faces Night at Tresor for a while now where he has also played with a couple of guys from our Stützpunkt crew. We are looking forward to one of his high energy techno sets.
As always we try to share some of Berlins young talents with you. Young producer Mali will play a live set which is highly anticipated by all of us. He has been a friend and supporter of our crew ever since we started doing our thing.
Two of our Stützpunkt guys will complete the UNTEN lineup. Joost is back after playing a live set at the first Stützpunkt and Opål will show of his knowledge and feeling for music by playing a very different, atmospheric mix for this edition of our party.

The OBEN-Floor, as always hosted by Stützpunkts very own Bongsy, will balance out the night with a special, melodic house fueled lineup.
Fathia, part of the Berlin based label Jackmode, will team up with the turkish up and coming DJ Arif. She has played at all of Hamburgs relevant venues and has also had the opportunity to show of her talent in international clubs.
After their 5 hour closing extravaganza back in November 2015, it was inevitable that Docmadeli have to be back with us on the OBEN-Floor as well. The Berlin/Hamburg based duo showed that they are always able to deliver what the crowd needs.

We are looking forward to this special night and can’t wait to have you all back at our shack right at the S-Bahn Humboldthain. See you there!
